Hi

I visited a church community that has been planted in Seville last wkend. They are 12 people, who make the effort to have a lot of fellowship together, to hang out, to eat together and to pray and seek God together. They have begun a similar quest to you guys: one of their goals is to reach out to whatever needs they see in the inner city of Seville. When I went there, there was an unusually cold spell in the city. Last year a homeless person died on the streets from the cold. So they got together and bought 10 sleeping bags and dished them out to people on the street, and got to know some of the homeless people, and got the chance to pray with some of them.
Their plan going forward is to spend a good amount of time praying together to see what God shows them they can do. They are aware that they want God's guidance first so that it is not just their human effort trying to reach out to whatever different need.
Maybe some of that will be an inspiration for you guys as you look to do a similar thing in Soton. There is need out there and like we found out in Seville on that cold night, its not like it is so complicated just to step out and take action. So why is it we don't do it more often? So I think it is a great thing you guys are looking to do. Let me share this verse from John 5 "I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does." I pray/hope you will be able to find out what the Father is doing in Soton! And whenever I come back to Eng I'd like to get involved!

Er...In answer to your questions:
Yes, i reckon, but everything evolves - life is organic...

As above, but prefix -- yeah, and that is to b seen...

how do we 'practically b the message' - the answer is in the question: 'we...b the messgae. That is practical. Doing. Faith without works. I am therefore Jesus is....

The rest is sophistry. As eve4rything stands the risk of.
