I thought it might be useful to run a sort of 'car clinic' where people could bring their cars along to be looked at.
I envisage people turning up to ask us what that funny noise is, "this bit fell off - does itmatter?", etc.
It wouldn't necessarily be to carry out work on cars, though simple stuff like changing a wheel or bulb could be done.

I think this is a brilliant idea! Not knowing much about cars myself I know I would really value that kind of service and know my friends (christian and non-christian) would too. It sounds a great way of reaching out to the community and just blessing people - for the sake of just blessing people. Brilliant! Exactly what Steve Chalke talked about in his conference!

My car is a bit of a disater area so I'd appreciate it too! We could do a drop in thing in return for something that someone else could do. A bit like pay it forward... Jo Muzza
